South Kingstown Police Public Safety Dispatcher

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• 1 year experience in general office practices: word processing, data entry, typing, filing or an equivalent combination of skills
• Computer proficiency, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Ability to remain calm in stressful and emergency situations

Salary and Benefits (full time position)

• Starting pay $26.56 per hour $27.24 per hour upon successful completion of probationary period
• Union affiliated position (Council 94)
